Job Seeking

[Sarah]

Markus walked into the Planet Express building and looked around. "Hello?" he called out. "Is anyone here?"

[Gokol]

The Proffesor was angry because everyone was sick except him and bender who off doing somthing else that I rather not think about. He was expecially frustrated because Zoidberg was supposed to prove himself competent for once and help out with the mission and he made a bet Bender as to the result and it looked like he would lose the 200 dollar bet, but then the professor realized that with bender away he could do what any real man does in these kind of situations and lie to bender when he got back. "Where is everyone?!" He yelled out of frustration.

[Sarah]

Markus heard the Professor's voice and walked further into the building until he found him. "Uh... Hey," he said. "Are you the guy in charge here? Cause I'm looking for a job."

[Gokol]

"Yes, I am in charge of this place and I am Professor Hubert Farnsworth, but I need to ask two questions before I can even think about hiring you. One, can you speak proper english? Two, Do you mind being one of my vict..I mean Test Subjects?" The Professor replied after getting even more aggitate by the fact that because of Markus's far from perfect mastery of the english language and his now almost non-existant sense of hearng, it was quite the understatement to say that he had a hard time understanding what Markus was saying.
((I won't kill him or negatively effect him.))

[Sarah]

"Whoa, I can speak English. I just use a little slang and shorten a few words here and there but I'm not the only one who does that," Markus said with a slight nervous chuckle. "And I guess. I don't really have anything to lose, so I guess I could be a test subject."

[Gokol]

"I have two more questions. One, What is your name? Two, Do you know how to operate a spaceship?" The Professor replied hoping the answer to the question would be yes.

[Sarah]

"My name is Markus Giles, and yeah, I can operate a spaceship," Markus replied. At least these questions were easier than most of the job interviews he had been to. Or maybe he just thought that because he had just crashed from his sugar high....

[Gokol]

"You are hired! Now you are going to deliver a Package the the Planet Aqus III a world that is over 90% percent water and many dangerous creatures like Sea Serpents!" Hubert replied and then started smiling in demented fashion

[Sarah]

"Wow, that was fast," Markus said. His eyes widened upon hearing 'dangerous creatures like seas serpents' and thought it might be best to say something. "Wait, Sea Serpents?" he asked slightly shocked. He wouldn't refuse considering he was grateful to finally have a job, but this sounded like awfully dangerous work for just delivering things.

[Gokol]

"Here is a guide to everything known about the planet like it's Fauna, Flora and Civilizations. Beware there are a few different species of Sentient life including the Cephalopians, a species that involved from Cephalopods(Octopus, Squid, Etc..)) hence the name. Oh, and I am going to need you to step into one of my machines." He said pointing to a random machine. (((Who cares what it looks like?))

[Sarah]

"Okay," Markus said with a slight shrug. He looked at the guide a moment then stepped into the machine.

[Gokol]

"Well it's already finished you showed start noticing the effects once you get to the planet." Said The Professsor while hoping he wouldn't need a new crew soon.

[Sarah]

Markus was slightly surprised at how quickly the machine worked. "Okay," he said. "But can't you give me a tiny hint what the effects will be? I don't like surprises. Unless its Pixy Stix. If its Pixy Stix I love surprises!"

[Gokol]

"Say what about Pixies?! Darn those pesky litle creatures!" The Proffesor yelled then started muttering complete gibberish.

[Sarah]

Markus sighed deciding it would be best not to bother explaining that he was talking about a kind of candy. "Erm... I guess I should be going then," he said. "Is the package I'm supposed to be delivering already on the ship?"
